I Went To A Fabulous Party...

Trite meretricious bunkum that offers almost nothing to redeem it, except two fairly decent acting performances from among this badly directed, far-from-ensemble cast. The play more than creaks, it is excruciatingly bad. Nor is it 'new', having been seen in last year's Edinburgh Fringe to a reception that called for it to be euthanized... Put it, and us, out of our misery this time.

Not sure it's as profound as the publicity makes it sound but that would be quite an achievement from the bard's ludicrous original. What the gender-flip does achieve is to provide an opportunity for the versatile cast to have fun reinventing the roles.
