Anyone Can Whistle

08 Feb 2017 - 11 Mar 2017

You can see why this show flopped, the book veers all over the place. One minute we are in a cartoon town, with cartoon baddies and suitably cartoon songs; the next week are at the start of a tender love story, with beautiful - but not really fitting with the rest - title song, beautifully sing here However, this production tries it's best, with great verve and enthusiasm, great dancing and good musical support from a small band. Well worth going, providing you can overlook the gaping flaws in the book.
