From humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This new stage musical, presented in association with Tina Turner herself, reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.

“Slickly choreographed, beautifully designed and roof-raisingly well-sung... Warren: a tour de force performance. ”

Dominic Cavendish (The Telegraph)

“One of those shows that has healing power... Lloyd’s dazzling production has you in its grip throughout.”

Neil Norman (Express, The Stage)

“Warren absolutely storms it... The choreography is some of the most giddy and energetic in the West End.”

Will Longman (London Theatre)

“Terrific... A heady celebration of triumph over adversity... A whirlwind performance by Warren that left the audience breathless”

Michael Billington (The Guardian)

“Straightforward bio-musical elevated by a belting performance from Adrienne Warren.”

Tim Bano (The Stage, Time Out)

“Has everything going for it... Warren: gives a portrayal of Turner that is absolutely stupendous.”

Paul Taylor (The Independent)

“Lloyd's production is in-your-face, and the projection-heavy design is bold and often stylish... The audience is kept happy.”

Broadway World (other reviewers)

“Warren... doesn’t so much imitate Turner as channel her... An entertaining night, brilliantly performed.”

Andrzej Lukowski (Time Out)

“Never fully sparks into life... The material surprisingly lacks rigour, too often staying in soft-focus... Much to enjoy.”

Fiona Mountford (Evening Standard)

“Warren does not mimic Turner: she captures her voice and releases it. She is the fire in a show that could do with more flare.”

Susannah Clapp (The Observer)

“Warren... a deeply felt, full-throated, performance... A Tina Turner tribute show with a highly accomplished central performance”

Michael Arditti (Express)
