The London revival of Holmes' thrilling and comical play-within-a-play, originally based on the unfinished novel by Charles Dickens.

Full of intrigue and mystery, the story follows the exploits of the Theatre Royale Music Hall Company as its actors set about completing the story of Edwin Drood - with just a little help from the audience along the way.

The Tony Award-winning score, full of evocative melodies, draws on the traditions of Music Hall and pantomime to encapsulate the Victorian vaudevillian spirit of the show.

[REVIEW OF SAME PRODUCTION AT LANDOR THEATRE] A fun and charming night out if you're in the neighbourhood and in the mood. 'Drood' is a musical that some enterprising spark put together out of a half-finished Dickens novel, and it doesn't have any pretensions of being Les Miserables: for one thing, there isn't much of a fourth wall, as a narrator lays out how this or that character might have been...
