Orphaned in India, 11 year-old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive Uncle Archibald and his invalid son Colin. On their estate, she discovers a locked garden filled with magic and a boy who talks to birds, brings her cousin back to health by putting him to work in the garden.

A brand new 70-minute edition of the 1991 Tony-Award- winning Broadway musical based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

“An appealing youth production... This heartwarming story is beautifully told in Simon's alternately gorgeous and lilting score. ”

Mark Shenton (The Stage, London Theatre, Express)

“Simon’s oratorio-like music complements Norman’s script and lyrics beautifully... Much to delight in the performances. ”

Neil Norman (Express, The Stage)

“Pruned version... Bingley sparkles... Hinge pouts and stomps her way through the show with a bright energy. She’s great fun. ”

Miriam Gillinson (Arts Desk, Time Out)
