“Clever and magical opera. ”

The Stage (Other reviewers)

“Wryly creepy chamber opera... Turnage strikes an unsentimental, low-ostentation note that leaves plenty of room for the story.”

Andrzej Lukowski (Time Out)

“A sturdy adaptation of Neil Gaiman's nightmarish romp. It'll give strong stomachs a caffeine hit.”

Mark Valencia (What's On Stage)

“Sitcom-style libretto... largely unimaginative production.”
